Fundraising Quiz Night – 30th April 2023

The Friends of Broadmead Pond held their first major fundraiser at the Wiltshire Yeoman and were overwhelmed by the local support.  An amazing turnout of over 100 local residents came along to the event which raised £458.  This excellent total will be put towards the next project - the installation of a new viewing platform.

A huge thank you to the Wiltshire Yeoman for their first-rate hosting of the quiz and for their £150 cash donation of the first prize.

Special mention to the local businesses for their generous raffle donations:

Kew Electrical, Focus with Beth Brewer, Tesco Express, The Jolly Friar, Melksham Blinds and The Wiltshire Yeoman.

Thank you Broadmead Residents for showing that we can all come together, have a good time and raise money for such a good cause.

On the following Sunday, May 7th, The Wiltshire Yeoman was kind enough to host another quiz where some 30 people raised a further £45.50. this time without a raffle. Our thanks again go to The Wiltshire Yeoman and all those involved.

So far this year the Moorhen Chicks are doing well,
